Wei holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and has over eight years of experience as a mechanical engineer in China. Currently pursuing a diploma in Mechatronics and Robotics at BCIT, Wei aims to bridge the gap between mechanical and electrical disciplines to deliver well-rounded project solutions. He is highly proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with extensive expertise in creating precise mechanical drawings. Wei is also well-versed in manufacturing processes, making him an asset in design-to-production workflows. His goal is to contribute to innovative projects that require a strong foundation in both mechanical engineering and emerging mechatronics technologies.

Enrico is a passionate student of Mechatronics and Robotics at BCIT. After traveling the world while working in hospitality he decided to return to study and start a new career in a field he is passionate about. Since he was kid he loved understanding how things work finding pleasure troubleshooting and fixing any item or appliance that would break. He is constantly looking to improve himself and learn the skills needed to solve the next problem in front of him. He has a deep interest in the combination of robotics and AI, this led him in studying the Robotics Operating System during his spare time. During his time at BCIT he found excitement in learning to code microcontrollers and troubleshooting circuits.

Sydney is a hardworking and reliable mechatronics student at BCIT. Sydney has always been interested in learning how systems and mechanisms were designed and constructed, leading her to pursue a career in mechatronics. With earlier work experience as an electro-mechanical technician, Sydney has gained hands-on experience in building, wiring and troubleshooting projects that met CSA safely and compliance standards. Through her studies, she has learned AutoCAD, SolidWorks, C programming, and other technical tools. Sydney is looking to help businesses reduce costs and improve efficiency. She brings a strong work ethic, adaptability, and attention to quality to every role, so she can contribute to a team’s success.
